Job Description

This is a pivotal role in supporting the Store Manager to achieve overall success. As a key member of our store team, you will co-lead the team to orchestrate a symphony of success from the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a Customer-Centric Culture: Lead by example and create a meaningful store experience that drives customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Team Development: Conduct development programs for your team members, harmonizing with the business to hit financial sales, profit, and productivity targets.
  • Store Transformation: Transform our store into a haven that captures attention and creates an atmosphere so delightful, shopping becomes an absolute joy.
  • Roster Management: Efficiently oversee store rostering and wage expenses, maintaining a sharp emphasis on commercial acumen.
  • Stock Management: Manage stock (up to 15kg) in a fast-paced environment ensuring everything's in place for our customers' shopping spree.
  • Performance Tracking: Track store sales performance, recognizing exceptional results and pinpointing opportunities for enhancement – communicate findings to peers and senior management.
  • Talent Acquisition: Collaborate closely with the Store Manager & Talent Acquisition team to identify and recruit dedicated retail professionals to join our organization.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as an Assistant/Store Manager or Full-time worker.
  • Passion for Retail: A passion for the retail industry is a must.
  • Budget Management: Ability to manage budgets, interpret financial reports and generate efficient rosters in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Operational Excellence: Operational excellence, experienced across stock control & a keen eye for visual merchandising.
  • Energy and Inspiration: Thrive on the energy of a fast-paced environment, inspire and excite your peers.
