About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Commodities Director to lead our commodity operations and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive commodities strategy that aligns with our business goals.
  • Oversee the procurement and trading of commodities, managing market risks and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to streamline operations and maximize service levels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key industry stakeholders.
  • Manage budgets, drive cost-saving initiatives, and provide regular financial reporting.
  • Ensure all operations meet regulatory standards and implement robust risk management frameworks.

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years in commodities trading, supply chain management, or logistics, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills, with deep knowledge of global commodity markets.
  • Strategic thinker, results-driven, and a proactive problem-solver with a high level of integrity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
