Job Overview

We are seeking finance professionals to join our team as Cost Controllers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and controlling project costs, expenditure, and commitments
  • Performing variance analysis and identifying trends, risks, or issues
  • Preparing and supporting monthly financial reports, dashboards, and forecasts

Key responsibilities include:

Financial Analysis

Reporting and Communication
  1. Prepare and support monthly financial reports, dashboards, and forecasts
  2. Communicate effectively with site-based teams to explain financial data in practical, accessible terms

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Requirements
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Experience in project accounting and/or cost control roles
  • Comfortable working with site-based teams and translating financial data for non-financial audiences

Desirable skills include:

  • Familiarity with labour cost structures (EBA knowledge)
  • Energy sector experience working with site-based teams
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills; Power BI or ERP system knowledge
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Commercial acumen and a proactive approach to supporting project success
