About the Role:
  • As a Senior Financial Analyst - Merchandise & Product, you will provide business partnering, financial modelling, and business case support on project investment requests.
  • Deliver strategic financial advice, performance reporting, and business case development to enable the financial success of the online business.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build detailed budgets and forecasts for the merchandise business.
  • Present monthly results and forecasts to key stakeholders, highlighting key risks and opportunities.
  • Analyse financial data and results to educate the merchandise business on levers of success and opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Assist in ad hoc projects and analysis, and assist with value add projects on day-to-day duties and processes.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in a commercial or business partnering role.
  • CA or CPA qualified or similar qualification, with previous experience in a Commercial Finance environment.
  • Strong Excel modelling skills with previous experience working with large data sets.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Positive approach to challenge and change, with ability to be agile and adaptable.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with ability to communicate effectively with non-financial stakeholders.
  • A proven ability to challenge and influence key business stakeholders and processes to drive the best possible outcome for the organisation.
