Role Summary

The Client Services Manager will support the Global Fund Services businesses in managing the administrative and relationship needs of institutional trust clients. This involves responding to client inquiries, coordinating client activities, and identifying opportunities for expanding business relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key consultant to clients, assisting in the formulation of best practices and the evaluation and implementation of Trust and Custody services.
  • Ensure overall client satisfaction by facilitating the efforts of the service team, coordinating resources, and effectively communicating client concerns and needs.
  • Develop a complete understanding of the client's business, objectives, goals, and market challenges.
  • Assist Relationship Managers in counselling clients on emerging issues, bank products and services, legal and regulatory changes, and the general financial environment.
  • Participate in the development of solutions to client needs, coordinate presentations, and ensure the smooth delivery of new services.
  • Manage and enhance client profitability.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in financial servicing and accounting fields, with a client servicing background.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand legal documentations and provide recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Understanding of reconciliation processes and payment and transfer processes.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of registry and derivatives.
  • Ability to look ahead and identify opportunities or issues based on an understanding of clients' needs.
  • Previous experience with a background in custody or custodial services.
  • Knowledge of trust or asset management and/or finance.
  • Knowledge of alternative assets.
