The Opportunity:

You'll play a pivotal role in providing evidence-based therapy interventions and resources to support children and families in maximizing their independence and participation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to determine goals and areas of need.
  • Offering education, information, and support to clients and families.
  • Developing functional, routine-based goals with clients and families.
  • Providing counseling and knowledge of therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and parents.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualifications: Hold tertiary qualifications in Psychology with current registration with AHPRA.
  • Mission-Driven Approach: Have a passion for making therapy engaging, meaningful, and fun for families.
  • Counseling Skills: Possess the ability to provide counseling and offer knowledge of therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and parents.
  • Experience: Experience in completing risk assessments and mental health assessments is highly desirable.
