Production Team Leader

As a Production Team Leader at Endeavour Foundation, your primary objective is to optimize the vocational opportunities of employees through effective work, training, and assessment practices. This will enable the achievement of commercial outcomes at Endeavour Foundation work sites.
Key Responsibilities- Employee Development: Ensure supported employees are provided with opportunities to enhance their skills, while meeting NDIS requirements and commercial outcomes for the site.
- Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with management to ensure outcomes and deadlines are met, fostering a culture of open communication and teamwork.
- Quality and Efficiency: Ensure production meets commercial customer expectations regarding quality, delivery time frames, and business requirements, driving efficiency and productivity.
- Manufacturing Process: Engage in the manufacturing process, ensuring appropriate setup, production, and shutdown of equipment, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Quality Control: Apply quality controls during the manufacturing process to ensure production and quality align with customer requirements.
- Experience and Skills: Ideally, you will have experience working as a Support Worker or in disability services, with a strong understanding of vocational opportunities and commercial outcomes.
- Manufacturing Background: Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable, with the ability to operate production machinery and equipment.
- Leadership and Supervision: You will be comfortable supervising a large production team, with strong leadership and coaching skills to guide employees through their daily tasks.
- Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication skills are essential to ensure clear and concise information is presented to the team, promoting a culture of collaboration and respect.
- Physical Demands and Certifications: Physically fit due to the demands of the role, with a valid driver's license, Forklift ticket, and MR truck license an advantage. A Blue card and NDIS Screening card or willingness to obtain are also required.
