Job Description

As a Maintenance Manager, you will oversee all maintenance and facilities management requirements at Oaks Sunshine Coast Seaforth Resort.

The ideal candidate will have previous hands-on experience in maintenance and facilities management, preferably in a hotel environment.

  • Lead and execute the preventative maintenance program to ensure optimal property performance.
  • Provide hands-on support by performing repairs and maintenance as required across the property.
  • Supervise and manage key service areas including electrical, mechanical, pest control, cleaning, fire protection, security control systems, hydraulic services, and approved contractor works.
  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety best practices at all times.
  • Oversee stock control and supplier management to maintain efficient operations.
  • Prepare quotes, schedule, and manage Capital Expenditure requests.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute the preventative maintenance program to ensure optimal property performance.
  • Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance as required across the property.

  • Ensure Workplace Health and Safety best practices are met at all times.
  • Manage stock control and supplier management for efficient operations.
  • Prepare and manage Capital Expenditure requests.
Requirements:
  • Previous hands-on experience in maintenance and facilities management.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop team members.
  • Experience implementing a preventative maintenance program.
  • Sound MS Office skills (including Excel spreadsheets and word documents).
  • A passion for delivering exceptional, proactive service.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication combined with impeccable presentation.
  • Availability to work Monday-Friday, with some on-call work on weekends.
  • Building qualification will be highly regarded.
