Job Summary

This role is crucial to the effective management of claims services for clients. You will handle a portfolio of general insurance claims, focusing on liability claims.

  • Oversee end-to-end processes for a mixed portfolio of primarily Public Liability, Professional Indemnity and Property claims;
  • Conduct thorough reserving, investigate claims, manage costs, and negotiate with various parties;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients;
  • Foster connections with internal and external stakeholders, including brokers, underwriters, and reinsurers.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in public liability claims;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • The ability to remain composed under pressure and work flexibly when required;
  • The ability to work in Australia.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in managing public liability and property claims;
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as Law, Business/Commerce, Loss Adjusting or ANZIIF studies;
  • Previous client-facing experience;
  • Previous experience in mentoring colleagues.
