Senior Case Manager Role

We are seeking a Senior Case Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Protect team, you will provide expertise, support and knowledge to our members who are supported by the Protect team.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage and administer a portfolio of complex and general cases such as escalated or disputed Total Permanent Disability (TPD) and Income Protection (IP) insurance claims, Death (D) and Terminal Illness (TI) claims with or without insurance cover.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide expert advice and guidance on all aspects of case management, including assessment and decision-making.
  • To work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure effective claim outcomes and delivery of high-quality service to our members.
  • To develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including other departments within the organisation, external partners and suppliers.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in insurance claims management, preferably within a trustee role.
  • Detailed knowledge of the claims and underwriting process and applicable insurance policies, including legacy insurers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
