About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IOL Manager – Surgical Sales to join our team at Alcon. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving total IOL revenue and market share in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support surgical facilities and oversee the overall IOL portfolio, showcasing expertise in our products' benefits and differentiating vs. competitive products.
  • Provide high technical consultancy in assigned accounts, working with Account Managers, Tender and Pricing teams to provide the right customer solutions.
  • Drive total IOL revenue and market share in the territory, accelerating PCIOL penetration and facilitating the Accelerator program in selected accounts.
  • Manage tender requirements working with internal teams and develop new business with customers to achieve sales targets.
  • Maintain and optimize existing relationships and manage business with existing key customers, providing feedback on competitor activities in the field via line management.
Requirements
  • Deep knowledge of all IOLs, with the ability to detail the full portfolio of IOL products and competitively position Clareon vs. modified/advanced monofocals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both technical and interpersonal, with the ability to effectively convey clear, complete, and focused information.
  • Customer-oriented mindset and strong customer relationship management skills, with flexibility, motivation, self-confidence, resilience, and a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Strong logical and analytical skills to solve problems, with the ability to work independently and be proactive, and experience with CRM applications (such as Salesforce) to manage relationships and complete account and call planning.
