Nurse Unit Manager

About the Role
As a key member of our nursing team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing and/or midwifery services in a variety of health service settings.
- Accept accountability for your own practice standards and the guidance and development of less experienced staff.
- Support the Nursing/Midwifery Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager or equivalent in the leadership of nurses/midwives in the ward/unit/service.
- Undertake a portfolio within which you will promote continuity and consistency of care, assist in the implementation of practice changes, and assist in undertaking ward/unit/service management responsibilities.

Essential Requirements
- Current National Police Clearance (NPC).
- Working With Children Check (DHS).

Education/Vocational Qualifications
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
