The Portfolio Sales & Marketing Coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting the Director of Sales & Marketing with new business group opportunities and sales activities, whilst assisting in the day-to-day administration for the Hotel. This role would be perfect for someone who is looking for an entry-level Sales role.

**What you will be doing**:

- Ensure up-to-date knowledge of rates, packages and operational details of the hotel in order to be able to handle site inspections with the hotel’s client base.
- Assist the Sales & Marketing leadership team in developing and executing the marketing and e-commerce strategy by coordinating Sales and Marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Responsible for the collection and organisation of all Sales & Marketing correspondence within the Hotel and working with other departments, including Reservations.
- Assist the Sales & Marketing team with proposals, drafting documents, mail-outs and outgoing communication material to drive Hotel sales.
- Ensure the product knowledge for the Sales & Marketing department is current and up to date.
- Handle all incoming telephone calls and follow through using own initiative to help secure sales.
- Providing support in the distribution of materials, when required e.g. hotel brochures, sales kits for external promotions.
- Any other administrative duties as required from time to time.

**Qualifications**
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Previous sales experience working in the hospitality industry is preferred
- Proven track record of sales success
- Understands how to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Excellent administration and attention to detail
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects at the same time
