About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our team in Melbourne. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all deadlines and production expectations are met, while driving excellence in the factory and among employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, lead, and mentor a team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Manage appropriate stock and inventory levels of all production materials
  • Understand health & safety, quality assurance, and production requirements
  • Implement and streamline manufacturing processes, procedures, and systems
  • Communicate effectively with internal members to achieve desired outcomes
  • Produce high-quality products ensuring full support from sales, office to production

Requirements

  • Attention to detail, strong process systems, and focus on achieving results
  • 3 years' experience supervising or managing a team in a factory (desirable)
  • Coach, lead, and teach staff within a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the factory floor
  • Self-motivated individual with a passion for manufacturing

This role is suitable for individuals currently in a Team Leader, Supervisor, or 2IC position looking to step up. You should possess clear and concise communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
