Our goal is to enable enduring prosperity for our site, people, and community through responsible mining practices. We are seeking a highly motivated CHPP Technician - Mechanical Plant & Support to join our safety-focused team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in frontline delivery of the Mechanical Engineering Control Plan
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical apparatus in accordance with Australian and mine standards
  • Collaborate with the CHPP team to ensure asset management and production targets are met
  • Participate and contribute to our proactive safety culture
  • Promote and maintain a high level of positive safety performance & workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of our values

Requirements:

  • Qualifications as a Mechanical Tradesperson (Fitter/Boilermaker)
  • Previous experience as a Mechanical technician in a CHPP or fixed plant industrial setting
  • Familiarity with crushers, conveyors, vibrating screens, centrifuges, industrial pumps, and similar equipment
  • High regard for personal safety and the safety of teammates
  • Ability to follow a plan and adapt to challenging environments
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to working proactively
  • Team player with high safety awareness, outstanding performance, and willingness to contribute to a winning team
