Bengalla Mining Company seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our field maintenance team. This role offers a great work-life balance while contributing to a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure site safety standards are maintained through proactive leadership.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across mining, engineering, and planning teams for safe and efficient maintenance outcomes.
- Provide leadership to your team, setting expectations, upholding accountabilities, reviewing performance, and providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for necessary parts and equipment.
- Identify and implement improvements in safety and technical matters.
- Report incidents and participate in incident investigations.
Requirements:
- Mechanical or Electrical trade certificate and/or tertiary mechanical/electrical engineering qualification.
- Previous experience as HME maintenance supervisor in open cut mining environment.
- Heavy plant maintenance experience: dragline, excavators and drills.
- Knowledge of relevant mining related legislation.
- Ability to make data-driven risk-based decisions.
- Strong frontline leadership skills with effective written and verbal communication.
- Previous exposure to a Maintenance Management system.
