Residential Construction Portfolio Manager

Manage a portfolio of new home builds in the Bendigo region from site start through to the final inspection and maintenance stage.
This is a full-time, ongoing position that involves coordinating and managing trades, establishing a reliable trade base, building strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring quality homes are built within set time frames and budgeted guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have experience supervising residential home builds, residential construction experience, and/or a strong trade background. They should also have a thorough understanding of Australian building regulations, WHS regulations, and Quality Assurance systems.
- Key Accountabilities:
- Coordinate and manage trades, establish a reliable trade base
- Build strong and ongoing working relationships with clients, trades, and key stakeholders
- Ensure correct building practices and procedures are adhered to at all times
- Ensure quality homes are built within set time frames and budgeted guidelines
- Enforce and adhere to OH&S regulations
- Day-to-day management of trades on site, suppliers, completion of paperwork, and other administrative tasks
- Weekly KPI reporting
- Experience supervising residential home builds, residential construction experience, and/or a strong trade background
- A thorough understanding of Australian building regulations, WHS regulations, and Quality Assurance systems
- Have completed the General Construction Induction Course/White Card
- Hold a valid driver's license
- Solid project management skills, including experience in managing and developing a trade network
- Effective communication with a diverse customer group, including delivering excellent customer service
