We are seeking a highly skilled Database Operations Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to contribute to the success of our database operations.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our database workloads, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and manage database workloads to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade database management systems (DBMS).
  • Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Implement data security measures to protect against unauthorized access and ensure data integrity.
  • Develop and maintain regular database maintenance schedules, including backups, indexing, and archiving.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design database schemas and optimize queries.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in database administration and operations.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and maintaining large-scale databases.
  • Strong understanding of database performance optimization techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
