Your Role

Join us in a hands-on role where your technical skills will directly shape the tools that power IAG's Intermediated Insurance Business. As a SQL Database Specialist, you'll be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining the tools that manage critical data—helping us move away from legacy systems and into smarter, more efficient solutions. Your work with SQL databases and Excel macros will ensure our data tools are accurate, reliable, and ready to support better decision-making across the underwriting function.

This is a 12-month Max term opportunity, with flexibility to work from either Melbourne or Sydney.

About You

  • Strong experience designing, building, and updating SQL databases and complex Excel-based tools
  • Proven ability to deliver technical solutions that meet business needs
  • Good understanding of the IAG technology ecosystem
  • Structured thinker with a knack for solving problems efficiently
  • Collaborative and confident working across multiple teams and business units
