Data Services Manager
The role of the Data Services Manager is to oversee the technical operations of the Bariatric Surgery Registry database and its associated web-based interface. This includes managing data quality processes to ensure completeness and accuracy of registry data.
">- Coordinate and manage the technical operations of the Bariatric Surgery Registry database
- Manage data quality processes to ensure completeness and accuracy of registry data
- Extract data for internal and external data access requests, data analysis, and reporting
- Supervise the day-to-day activities of the Technical Support Officer(s)
To be successful in this role, you will need
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Dealing with large, disparate datasets in an academic environment
- High level of computer skills including data analysis tools and visualization tools
- Broad experience in leading a team to deliver service excellence and continuous improvement
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills
It would be advantageous to have
- Experience working as part of a leadership team and contributing to strategic direction
- Understanding of the healthcare industry and higher education sector
