Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Vessel Master to manage administrative tasks and ensure safety protocols are met.
  • Evaluate and improve guest satisfaction, vessel performance, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Support watch-keeping, navigation, and vessel handling activities.
  • Develop and conduct regular onboard safety drills and crew training programs.
  • Mentor Deck Crew members to enhance their performance and compliance with marine standards.
  • Enhance team morale by promoting high-performance work practices and professional presentation.
  • Address guest concerns promptly to maintain excellent service levels.
  • Delegate tasks effectively while upholding marine industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Master 24, with MED 3 or Coxswain Grade 1 (mandatory).
  • HLTAID011 Provide First Aid (mandatory).
  • HLTAID015 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Apply Oxygen Resuscitation (mandatory).
  • QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol (mandatory).
  • QLD Working with Children's Check (Blue Card) (mandatory).
