Transport Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transport Operations Manager to lead our transport and drainage operations team.
- Provide operational leadership for road maintenance, transport, pavement, and drainage services ensuring they meet the required standards and quality expectations.
- Develop and implement service plans in alignment with asset management principles, regional needs, and resource availability.
- Manage customer requests per policy and service standards ensuring timely and consistent regional response.
- Negotiate and manage Road Maintenance Performance Contracts with relevant authorities.
- Support achievement of organizational objectives and deliver technical advice to senior management.
- Supervise team members with clear direction and visible leadership ensuring consistent communication and service delivery across the region.
You will have:
- Proven high-level managerial and supervisory skills including contemporary techniques such as team building, quality assurance, total quality management, and time management.
- Highly developed communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills including demonstrated interpersonal, oral, and written ability.
- A strategic understanding of Department of Transport and Main Roads Road Maintenance Performance Contracts (RMPC).
