We're seeking a skilled professional to join our Tangible Assets Valuation team within Deals.

This role involves analyzing client data, conducting market research, and performing physical inspections of plant and equipment to deliver commercial insight and technical expertise. Your analytical skills and ability to display innovative data analytics capabilities will help drive impactful decisions across diverse clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct asset valuations for mergers & acquisitions, purchase price accounting, fair value reporting, impairment testing, taxation, insurance, finance, and other purposes;
  • Develop and review valuation models for tangible asset valuations and due diligence processes;
  • Lead meetings and facilitate calls with client management and on-site personnel regarding projects and execution;
  • Access in-house data and analytics tools for services such as Fixed Asset Register health audits, rebuilds, and CAPEX optimisation.

Requirements:

Background in Corporate Finance, Accounting, or Engineering (or equivalent STEM discipline), combined with a Business/Commerce degree is essential. You'll bring a different way of thinking, together with strong analytical skills and the ability to display innovative data analytics capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Membership or eligibility for relevant professional bodies, completed Practicing Valuer Certification, and knowledge of software suites such as Microsoft Office, Power BI, Python, and Tableau are advantageous.
