Colts Manager Opportunity

Sunnybank Rugby Union Club is seeking a dedicated and experienced Colts Manager to lead the development of its youth rugby programs.

This exciting opportunity will involve overseeing the entire Colts program, including coaching, player recruitment, retention, and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-performance outcomes and creating a positive coaching culture across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Head Coach Colts 1 and oversee all Colts teams (Colts 2-4 and Junior Colts)
  • Lead and mentor coaches to deliver consistent professional standards
  • Drive player recruitment, retention, and development across Colts
  • Deliver the Mick Ramsay Academy (U15-U19 identified athletes)
  • Partner with the Junior Pathways Manager to strengthen the player pipeline
  • Act as a public ambassador for Sunnybank, building relationships with schools and the wider rugby community
Requirements:
  • World Rugby Level 3 Coach qualification
  • High-performance rugby experience
  • Demonstrated success in player and coach development
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to live locally and integrate into the community
