Job Overview

The Grounds Person Lead will be responsible for providing leadership to an experienced and passionate grounds team. The successful candidate will assist the Senior Team Leader in delivering year-round maintenance, preparation, and renovation of all turf surfaces at BISP.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Senior Team Leader in delivering high-quality turf surfaces
  • Provide leadership to the grounds team
  • Coordinate and oversee turf maintenance and preparation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and ability to work proactively under pressure to meet deadlines. They should also have:

  • Certificate III in Horticulture (Turf), Sports Turf Management or a related area
  • Current class C driver's license
  • Experience and knowledge of high-standard sporting field preparation and other areas including common reserves and landscaping
