Senior Workforce Safety and Wellbeing Advisor Role

This is a key leadership role that oversees the development, management, and delivery of professional work health, safety, wellbeing, and rehabilitation services. The successful candidate will effectively inform and support senior managers and staff responses and strategies.
Responsibilities include reviewing and reporting on work health, safety, wellbeing, and rehabilitation policies, guidelines, procedures, and networks consistent with Health Service policy. Additionally, the role involves coordinating the safety management system and rehabilitation services for the organization.
- Qualifications in work health and safety or injury management are highly regarded.
- The ideal candidate should have a high level of knowledge of and demonstrated ability to apply the provisions of relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and standards.
- Demonstrated skills in conducting audits, investigating accidents and dangerous events, identifying risks, and making recommendations to control risks are essential.
- The ability to apply injury management practices and strategies to facilitate appropriate outcomes for injured and ill employees is also required.
