About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Graduate ICT to join our team in designing and managing integrated information, communication technology and security solutions.

As a Graduate ICT, you will be responsible for designing and managing secure and efficient communication networks across various sectors, including Defence, Data Centres, Network and communication systems, Space, Commercial, Hospitals, Highways, Rail & Metro, and Airports.

You will develop skills in:

  • Designing and implementing ICT systems, including structured cabling systems, active networks, WLAN, IPTV, audio-visual systems, video conferencing and intercoms.
  • Developing and integrating security systems, such as CCTV, access control, intruder alarms and perimeter intrusion detection, and Type 1A security alarm systems.
  • Conducting site assessments and supporting the installation and testing of ICT and security systems.
  • Developing technical specifications, proposals, and technical findings for clients and stakeholders.
  • Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations for ICT and security systems.

Requirements for Success

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary degree in Telecommunications, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Security or AV related field of study.
  • Ability to commence work by February 2025.
  • Submission of your resume, cover letter and the latest copy of your academic transcript.
  • Australia citizenship before applying and be eligible for defence clearance requirements.
