Job Description

**Job Title:** ICT System Administrator Contract Specialist

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICT System Administrator to join our team at Recruitment Hive. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for delivering various services and support in our desktop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner, utilizing our service management tool.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurrence of incidents.
  • Develop and enhance automated processes to release new solutions into the live environment.
  • Administer and modify Group Policy objects to ensure seamless system operation.
  • Coordinate SOE rollouts and desktop environment changes through our Change Management process.
  • Provide input to regular reports on system availability, usability, performance, patch management, and endpoint security vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in ICT Operations device evaluations and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Lead by example and mentor junior staff members to ensure knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, knowledge base, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including the IT Service Desk, to ensure seamless collaboration and relationship-building.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in supporting and managing desktop environments, with a strong understanding of Microsoft operating systems and domain administration.
  • Knowledge of application packaging and support, SCCM/Intune, Group Policy, Azure, Active Directory, and endpoint management.
  • Ability to work well in a geographically dispersed team environment and autonomously, with strong initiative and client service skills.
  • MCSE/MCITP certification or equivalent experience.
