Occupational Rehabilitation Manager

Lead a multidisciplinary team of rehabilitation consultants and make a real difference in people's lives.

  • Manage and coach a team of consultants to achieve high performance and quality.
  • Oversee the team's performance, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance team productivity and efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members to ensure their professional development.
  • Advise and coach on case management practices while managing a reduced, specialized caseload.
  • Identify barriers to return-to-work and design, implement, and monitor programs that facilitate injured employees' return to the workforce.

Key qualifications include:

  • Qualifications and registration in occupational therapy, social work, physiotherapy, exercise physiology, psychology, chiropractic, or rehab counseling.
  • Current vehicle and driver's license with the ability to travel for work.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience in workers' compensation, rehabilitation, and occupational health and safety legislation.
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with insurers, medical practitioners, employers, and employees.
  • Evidence of accurate information gathering and analysis to provide comprehensive assessments.
  • Ability to consistently deliver high-level customer service and grow business through increased referrals.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills.
