Lead Rehabilitation Team

We are seeking a skilled Allied Health Team Leader to lead and coach our multidisciplinary team of Rehabilitation Consultants in Darwin or Adelaide.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference in people's lives and providing excellent customer care.

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and coaching a team of Consultants, overseeing the team's performance and quality, exploring new opportunities and growth areas, mentoring and training junior staff members, and providing advice and coaching on case management practices.

You will also manage a reduced, specialized case load of your own and identify Return To Work barriers, designing, implementing, and monitoring programs that assist injured employees return to the workforce as required.

  • Leadership and Coaching: Lead and coach a team of Consultants to achieve high-quality outcomes.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the team's performance and quality, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Business Development: Explore new opportunities and growth areas, identifying potential revenue streams and developing strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Mentorship and Training: Mentor and train junior staff members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and expertise.
  • Case Management: Provide advice and coaching on case management practices, while managing a reduced, specialized case load of your own.
  • Return to Work Initiatives: Identify Return To Work barriers, designing, implementing, and monitoring programs that assist injured employees return to the workforce as required.

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Chiropractic, or Rehab Counselling.
  • A current Vehicle and Driver's Licence and ability to travel for work.
  • Minimum one year of experience in workers compensation, rehabilitation, and occupational health and safety legislation.
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills to confidently liaise with insurers, medical practitioners, employers, and employees.
  • Evidence of accurate information gathering and analysis in order to provide thorough and comprehensive assessments.
  • Ability to consistently provide high-level customer service and grow business by way of increased referrals.
