Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Electricity Network Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating onsite work activities to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient construction and maintenance of the transmission and distribution electricity network.

About the Role:

  • Plan and prioritize work for each day, ensuring teams complete planned and unplanned tasks effectively.
  • Manage customer and stakeholder expectations through effective communication, providing clear updates on job status and technical issues.
  • Oversee teams to meet performance targets, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Receive, evaluate, and prepare work parcels for implementation, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Respond promptly to faults, isolating the network for repairs to maintain its integrity and minimize customer impact.
  • Execute programmed construction and maintenance work to guarantee the network's safe, reliable, and affordable operation.
  • Demonstrate personal behaviors that align with our business values, codes, standards, and expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems Distribution / Transmission Overhead
  • Valid WA 'C' Class Drivers Licence
  • Relevant Network Authorisation including Construction industry white card and Basic Emergency Life Support (within the first month of employment)
  • Front Line Management unit: Implement Operational Plan, Lead Team Effectiveness, Lead effective workplace relationships, Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and programs to meet legislative requirements
  • Demonstrated industry experience in the construction and maintenance of transmission and/or distribution electricity network
