We are seeking a skilled Network Access Manager to lead the coordination of new electricity network connections in Western Australia. This is a key commercial and regulatory position that requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, assessment, and execution of new electricity network connection requests.
- Evaluate alignment with engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and internal processes.
- Provide commercial oversight of PNAC and PNR to ensure cost recovery and economic viability.
- Coordinate technical due diligence in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Serve as a key point of contact for customers and stakeholders, ensuring transparent and effective engagement.
- Represent the business in regulatory negotiations and connection-related commercial discussions.
- Support the integration of new assets, ensuring minimal disruption to existing operations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Law, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in network access or commercial operations in the power or renewables sector.
- Strong contract negotiation skills and knowledge of regulatory frameworks (ideally PNAC/PNR).
- Experience working with ISO/regulatory bodies in a grid or transmission environment.
- Sound commercial judgement and the ability to manage technically complex stakeholder engagement.
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to balance competing technical and commercial priorities.
