Night Operations Leader

Job Description

The Night Operations Leader is a critical role in our stores, responsible for leading a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities across the store. This individual will be comfortable working night shifts, adaptable to the physical and mental impact of these shift patterns, and able to provide a safe and healthy environment for their team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities across the store
  • Prioritize deliveries, organize the warehouse, and replenish shelves
  • Run a full store operation on their own overnight, responsible for the full shift and the safety and wellbeing of colleagues in store
  • Ensure that standards are brilliant come morning so we're ready to serve our customers
  • Manage people, including managing performance and capability, conducting disciplinaries, and ensuring scheduling and pay are accurate

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous line management responsibilities in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Resilience to deal with both the mental and physical demands of working nights
  • Provide brilliant customer service and coach a team to do the same
  • Have previous experience delivering and monitoring KPIs or other performance indicators
  • Be able to manage disciplinaries, performance issues, or other similar employee relations issues
  • Lead operations and be comfortable doing this alone in the absence of more senior management
  • Puts inclusivity at the heart of everything they do
