Your New Role

In this 6-month contract, you will support the Insurance Claims team by efficiently meeting service deliverables through a remediation program. You will case manage a death claims portfolio, representing the team as a key contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to internal and external insurance claim queries and complaints to process claims promptly.
  • Manage death claim distribution through case management to ensure timely payment.
  • Be the primary point of contact for claimants.
  • Maintain accurate claims registers and inform claimants of reasons for decisions.
  • Operate the unclaimed monies process, reviewing and approving requests to transfer accounts.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to build positive relationships.
  • Contribute to Member Operations services and service standards.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Relevant experience in a similar role or in superannuation insurance.
  • Strong organisational abilities to manage tasks according to priority.
  • Attention to detail and pride in performance.
  • Ability to work autonomously and set own work plan to meet deadlines.
