We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to support students with mild to moderate mental health concerns. As a key member of the Student Wellbeing Workforce, you will play a pivotal role in providing evidence-based intervention strategies to address social and emotional wellbeing.

About the Role
  • This position focuses on delivering targeted support for young people experiencing challenges with mental health, using therapeutic counselling and support through individual or group sessions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assessing student needs and developing comprehensive care plans.
  2. Connecting students and their families with relevant resources and services.
  3. Advocating for their rights and offering emotional support to promote overall wellbeing.

You will use your expertise to provide effective support and assistance to students facing various challenges, ensuring a positive educational experience.

Requirements
  • Knowledge of evidence-based intervention strategies to support social and emotional wellbeing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and educators to develop comprehensive support plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
