Job Opportunity

A compassionate professional is required to provide support and assistance to students and families facing various challenges.

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assessing student needs, developing care plans, connecting students and their families with resources and services, advocating for their rights, and offering emotional and wellbeing support.

You will work collaboratively with schools' established student support teams to enhance wellbeing and mental health support available to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional support and information for students, parents, carers, and school communities.
  • Use evidence-based intervention strategies to support young people experiencing challenges with mental health and social and emotional wellbeing.
  • Offer therapeutic counselling and support through individual or group sessions.
  • Facilitate referrals to other allied health professionals and services.
  • Support school communities in responding to critical incidents and emergencies.
  • Maintain confidential records keeping and reporting systems for individual students referred for Social Work services.
