Faculty Position in Nursing Education and Research
The University of Technology Sydney Faculty of Health seeks a distinguished academic with expertise in nursing education and research to contribute to the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, mentoring, and assessing students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as engaging with industry partners and consumers in subject design.
A strong track record of high-quality research outcomes, including securing funding, publishing in leading journals, and managing research projects, is essential.
The role also involves supervising Honours, Masters, and Doctoral students and building connections with industry and the wider academic community.
About You
As an accomplished educator and researcher, you will bring strong interpersonal and leadership skills, experience in course development and delivery, and the ability to mentor early- and mid-career researchers.
Requirements include:
- PhD in nursing (or close to completion)
- APHRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
- Strong research record with evidence of quality publications and attracting external competitive research grants
What We Offer
We offer a base salary range of $228,179 (Level E), plus 17% superannuation. The position is full-time and will be made on a continuing basis.
