Role Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced wine professional to join our team as a Sommelier. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a world-class wine list, providing exceptional service and advice to patrons.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of wines
  • Offer expert wine recommendations and provide exceptional customer service
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and wine team to develop and curate a stellar wine list and sake list
  • Participate in ongoing training and upskilling programs to refine skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture, providing support and guidance to colleagues as needed

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Sommelier in high-end venues, ideally in Sydney
  • Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and sake, with a passion for sharing this expertise with patrons
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment
  • Certification or extensive experience in wine and spirits would be highly regarded
