Job Title: Wine Professional

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional wine experiences in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure a memorable wine experience
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of local, national, and international wines
  • Offer expert advice on wine pairings and recommendations
  • Ensure a safe and organized wine storage area
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Experience as a Wine Waiter, Junior Sommelier or Sommelier
  • A passion for wine and the industry
  • Basic knowledge of local, national, and international wine
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • An outgoing personality and genuine interest in the day-to-day operations
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
  • Possession of a valid Certificate of Responsible Service of Alcohol
  • WSET or CMS qualification or equivalent advantageous

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with wine service
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of local, national, and international wines
  • Provide expert advice on wine pairings and recommendations
  • Maintain a safe and clean wine storage area
