Return to Work Coordinator

The Return to Work (RTW) Coordinator plays a vital role in implementing our return-to-work program across all business units, supporting injured workers and ensuring compliance with legislation requirements.

This part-time position offers flexibility in working days, commencement and finish times. The successful candidate will be located in the Melbourne Western suburbs but this is not essential.

  • Compile initial incident notification information and report to workers compensation agent.
  • Engage with referring doctor and other health physicians.
  • Coordinate worker's recovery at work, including identifying suitable work.
  • Maintain injury and recover at work statistics.
  • Promote health benefits of good work and safe work processes.
  • Contribute to improvement of relevant policies and systems.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • RTW Coordinator Victoria WorkSafe accreditation.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in a Return to Work role.
  • Previous experience in claims management, return to work coordination, workers compensation or injury management.
  • Sound understanding of the Victorian Workers Compensation system.
  • Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety and Worker's Compensation legislation.
