Medical Laboratory Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Medical Laboratory professional to fill this exciting opportunity at NSW Health Pathology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of Anatomical Pathology laboratory support and specimen reception tasks.
  • Provide assistance to laboratory staff under supervision to deliver a patient-centric service.
  • Maintain high quality work output while effectively managing competing priorities.

Requirements:

  • A working knowledge of or demonstrated ability to learn all aspects of the laboratory environment relevant to the Department.
  • Demonstrated customer service experience and skills, preferably in a laboratory setting.
  • Excellent data entry skills including high attention to detail and data accuracy.
