Higher Education Administrator

The Student Services Manager plays a key role in achieving strategic objectives and operational goals by ensuring efficient management of administrative functions, adherence to policies and procedures, and team support.
- Providing effective leadership, management and supervision to teams overseeing administrative functions, student compliance and reporting.
- Collaborating with academic staff on issues relating to student academic progress, student services and academic best practices.
- Maintaining awareness of the regulatory environment as it relates to student services and administration and ensuring compliance with policy frameworks.
- Overseeing front counter enquiry functions and ensuring accurate, high-quality advice is provided in a timely manner.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or extensive equivalent practical experience in a related role within the higher education sector.
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to consult, prepare and deliver reports and liaise with diverse people.
- Demonstrated ability to work under broad direction, manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.
