System Integration Specialist

As a System Integration Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing comprehensive SAP solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the full lifecycle of SAP Business Applications - ABAP based systems. This includes:

  • Maintaining effective relationships with IT teams.
  • Providing input into Continuous Improvement Programs.
  • Recommending improvements and developments of systems and processes across the business.
  • Full lifecycle management of SAP Business Application - ABAP based solutions.
  • Implementation of SAP ABAP solutions, providing functional expertise and guidance on SAP products.
  • Facilitating change implementation and supporting project systems to enhance business processes.
  • Development of business process descriptions and functional requirements.
  • Troubleshooting production issues as required.
  • Liaising with other SAP module consultants for integration requirements.
  • Generating documentation and training content for new or changed solutions.
  • Providing guidance on creating test plans and techniques for testing SAP functionality.
  • Conducting unit tests and project specific testing based on customer defined scenarios.
Requirements

The successful applicant will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in SAP ABAP and SAP development tools.
  • Completed tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Science or equivalent.
  • ITIL Certification - Foundation level or above is highly regarded.
  • Experience in developing procedures and processes to ensure system integrity.
  • Desirable skills include experience with SAP integration technologies, WebDynpro for ABAP, SAP workflow technologies and Adobe Forms development.
