GenesisCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at our state-of-the-art Oncology Centre in Murdoch, WA.

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical care, education, and support to patients, ensuring their physical and psychological needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring patients' needs are met.
  • Interact with patients, undertake education, wound management, and drug administration.
  • Effectively manage nursing patient load.
  • Facilitate effective communication with doctors, patient services, physics, research, and radiation therapy staff.
  • Provide patient feedback to doctors and radiation therapy staff.
  • Ensure all patient listed events are documented, communicated, and actioned.
  • Monitor and maintain procedures, protocols, practices, and clinical guidelines in line with best practice nursing standards.
  • Ensure medication management protocols are followed.
  • Establish communication for allied health services using ISBAR communication tool.
  • Comply with patient handover procedures as per ISBAR communication tool.
  • Support the clinical introduction of new medications and nursing products.
Requirements
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Clinical experience as a nurse with demonstrated understanding of oncology and ability to liaise with allied health care.
  • Nuclear medicine background preferred but not essential.
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to quality improvement and best practice principles.
  • Strong commitment to quality patient care.
  • Interest in continuing professional development.
  • Wound care management experience.
  • Ability to use electronic clinical administration systems.
