Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Palliative Care Program at WA Health.
About the Role: As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and delivering high-quality nursing care to patients via telehealth technologies. You will also play a key role in building palliative care capacity among clinicians in regional areas through leadership, advanced nursing skills, and knowledge relevant to palliative care nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative models of care in rural and remote communities to improve equity of access to quality palliative care.
- Provide leadership and support to clinicians in regional areas to build their skills and knowledge in palliative care nursing practice.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement palliative care services that meet the needs of patients and their families.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to palliative care nursing practice.
