Clinical Governance Director

Miwatj Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Governance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our governance framework, providing quality assurance advice, and overseeing project design, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the Miwatj governance framework, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide quality assurance advice and support to other members of the Senior Leadership Team across all areas of service delivery.
- Oversee project design, planning, implementation, and evaluation of identified quality improvement projects within Miwatj.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address quality and safety issues, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including staff, patients, and community members.
- Proven experience in clinical governance, quality assurance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Aboriginal Community Control, self-determination, and the issues faced by Yolŋu people living in remote settings.
- Ability to motivate and accommodate the needs of staff in facilitating change within a complex and culturally diverse environment.
- Proven capacity to communicate and negotiate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal peoples.
- A competitive annual salary of $144,820 - $150,615 per annum.
- 11.5% superannuation.
- Ability to salary package up to $15,900 per annum plus a further $2,650 per annum on Meals and Entertainment.
- A Darwin city location.
- 5 weeks annual leave.
