Job Title: Key Communications and Stakeholder Liaison

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Communications Officer to join our team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement strategic communication plans that strengthen relationships with stakeholders, students, and key external audiences.
    • Project manage the delivery of ongoing communications and content strategies across digital and engagement channels.
    • Identify and triage talent; newsworthy research and opportunities to enhance reputation, research, and recruitment.
    • Produce high-quality marketing materials, including website content, articles, newsletters, and magazines.
    • Maintain quality assurance standards and ensure all marketing material is accurate and compliant with industry best practices and legal requirements.
    • Maintain high-quality data governance to ensure all data used in communication activities is up-to-date and compliant.
    • Build productive relationships to proactively identify opportunities to profile the university, students, alumni, research, projects, partnerships, academics, and staff.
    • Monitor online engagement and effectiveness of communications and content strategies.
    • Provide leadership and technical guidance to support team members as required.

    • Demonstrated expertise in strategic communication planning and execution.
    • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    • Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
    • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation tools, such as Google Analytics.
