The role of Facilities Manager entails overseeing the efficient management of company assets across operational and tenanted properties in a designated region. This involves budgetary oversight, asset maintenance, and lifecycle planning to ensure cost-effective solutions and high standards of service delivery.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of facilities management services across your assigned region, encompassing approximately 30 properties.
- Oversee estate improvement projects, ensuring timely and safe execution within live operational environments.
- Coordinate the delivery of a full range of facilities management services with contract partners.
- Maintain tight control over budgets, track expenditure, identify opportunities for cost savings, and ensure services are delivered in a cost-efficient and high-quality manner.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, fostering a safe working environment while making strategic decisions that drive operational excellence and long-term value.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in property asset management, maintenance planning, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proven ability in budget management, focusing on cost control and financial planning.
- A trade qualification is mandatory (e.g., plumbing, gas, electrical, or fabric).
- Possession of a full driving license and ability to travel as required.
- Desirable: NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safety certification.
