Job Overview

The opportunity to work in a dynamic production environment as a key team member is now available.

This is a full-time position that offers the chance to be part of a team responsible for the efficient and safe running of our plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor various plant equipment to ensure optimal production output and meet daily targets.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on plant machinery and systems to prevent downtime and maintain efficiency.
  • Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to plant operations to facilitate data-driven decision making.
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to achieve overall plant objectives and drive business growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a plant operator or in a similar production role within the mining industry with a focus on mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Front end loader experience is essential, as is a forklift truck license. A strong mechanical background and ability to troubleshoot and maintain plant equipment are also highly desirable.
  • A commitment to upholding health, safety and environmental standards, as well as excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, is required.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities is essential for success in this role.
