Overview

The opportunity

As a Plant Production Operator at Refractech (Aust) Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our production facility in Wollongong, NSW. This is a full-time position that offers the chance to be part of a dynamic team responsible for the efficient and safe running of our plant.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor various plant equipment to ensure optimal production output
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on plant machinery and systems
  • Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to plant operations
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to achieve overall plant objectives
What We\'re Looking For
  • Previous experience as a plant operator or in a similar production role within the mining industry
  • Front end loader experience essential
  • Forklift truck licence required
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and maintain plant equipment
  • Commitment to upholding health, safety and environmental standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities
